Funeral service for Lisso Looper will be held 1 PM Monday, March 19, 2007 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Graveside service will be held 3:30 PM Monday, March 19, 2007 in Antioch Methodist Memorial Cemetery near West Monroe, La. Visitation will be 11AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Looper, 91, of Natchitoches, La., died Friday, March 16, 2007, at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Bentley, La. He was a retired owner and operator of Looper Brothers Upholstry in Alexandria, La. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Allen; one brother, James Armond Looper; paerents,James Franklin Looper and Berdie Avery Looper. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Dickerson Looper of Natchitoches, La.; two sisters, Claudia Brossette of Baton Rouge, La. and Doris Barrios of El Paso, Tx.; one brother, Edmond Looper of Zwolle, La. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Looper, Dwight Looper, Morris Summers, Stan Brossette. Allen Brossette, and James Barrois.
