A service celebrating the life of Mrs. Barbara Jean Caspari will be 10 am Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Provencal First Baptist Church in Provencal, LA with Tommie Haley officiating. Interment will follow at Provencal Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 10 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Provencal First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Caspari, 64 years of age, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Vidrine, LA.
She was born to the late George Daniel Michwitch and late Opal Odell Perot at Natchitoches Parish Hospital on November 3, 1946. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, James Logan Warren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be fondly remembered but deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard James Caspari, Jr.; sons, Richard James Caspari, III of Breaux Bridge, Michael Lane Caspari of Bossier City, Mark Daniel Caspari of Scott; daughter Dana Michele Gautreaux of Vidrine; brother, Tommie Haley and his wife Glenda of Huntsville, TX; sister in law, Maggie Craig and her husband Ron of New Iberia; she was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Ronnie Craig, Mike Deason, Jerry Deason, Walt Salter, John Salter and Quinton Caspari. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethen Jones and Andrew Caspari.
