Robert LaCaze

Funeral service for Robert LaCaze will be held 10 AM Monday, January 3, 2011 in Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Chance officiating. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Monday, January 3, 2011 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. LaCaze, 67, of Bermuda, La., died Saturday, January 1, 2011, in his residence at Natchez, La. He was a native of Montrose, La. Mr. LaCaze, retired as a heavy equipment operator for Natchitoches Parish Police Jury. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by sister, Louise George; brother, Jessie LaCaze; half-brother, Mike LaCaze; parents, William 'Bill' LaCaze and Mary Garsee LaCaze Kelly. He is survived by one sister, Peggy Gongre of Natchitoches, La.; one half-sister, Julia Swanner of Jonesboro, Ar.; two half-brothers, Joe LaCaze of Natchez, La. and Wallace LaCaze of Robeline, La.; several nieces and nephews.
