Viola Vercher Bynog

Viola Vercher Bynog, age 86, of Natchitoches, La., died Friday, April 13, 2007, at the hospital in Natchitoches, La. She was born March the 1st, 1921 in Cloutierville, LA. She led a wonderful life raising her ten children and taking care of her family’s needs. She was a wonderful mother who loved to take care of her family. She loved to dance, play bingo, call and talk to her friends, and collect dolls. She will be dearly missed by her family, but she will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Bynog, her father and mother, Arthur Vercher and Augustine Vercher, and her daughter, Violet Mitcham. She is survived by her nine children, James Earl Bynog and wife Linda of Cloutierville, La., Nancy Kerry and husband Gene of Natchitoches, La., John Bynog and wife Linda of Natchitoches, La., Henry Bynog and wife Rachel of Keithville, La., Christine Ward and husband Lee of Cloutierville, La., Ethel Jones and husband Casey of Natchitoches, La., James Freddy Bynog and wife Brenda of Natchitoches, La., Floyd Bynog and wife Linda of Natchitoches, La., and Lee Bynog of Shreveport, La.; three brothers, Eddie Vercher of Boyce, La., Jessie Vercher of Pollock, La., and Billy Ray Vercher of Alexandria, La.; 28 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Marcus Ward, Neil Kerry, John Bynog, Randy Bynog, Randy Jones, and Joey Bynog. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Bynog, Bryant Mitcham, Roy Bynog, Kevin Bynog, Jerald Kerry, Jamie Bynog, and Richard Jones. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La., where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Saturday, April 14, 2007. The funeral service will be at the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2007 , with Rev. Douglas Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the Emmanuel Cemetery.
