Lucille Faust Brossette

Lucille Faust Gongre Brossette, age 92, of Bossier City, LA, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2007, at Merrill Gardens in Bossier City. She was born October 14, 1914. She was a long time resident of Natchitoches, LA where she resided at 209 Henry Ave. She moved to Merrill Gardens in Bossier City in 2000. Lucille worked at Lieber's Clothing Store until she retired. She loved gardening and she was an excellent cook, no one ever left her home hungry. The family would like to extend their thanks Merrill Gardens, Home Instead Senior Care, and Odyssey Heath Care for all the wonderful things done for the care of Lucille. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Pierre Brossette; her parents Acie Sidney Faust and Lola Faust Brown; two daughters, Hazel Spray & Geneva Burdett; two brothers, Sidney Faust & Bill Faust; and one sister, Nan Quibedeaux. She is survived by four grandsons, Rick Rogers, Steve Rogers, Ronnie Myers, & Mike Myers; three brothers, Oscar Faust, Jerry Faust, & Elmer Faust; and two sisters, Bettie Rains & Ouida Marcellis. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2007. A grave side service will be held at Memory Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2007 , with Rev. Mark Faust officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.
