Beatrice Derbonne Antoon, age 96, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. The funeral service will be at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2011, with Fr. Jacob Thomas officiating. A rosary service will be held at the church at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 6, 2011, prior to the services. Interment will be at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. Beatrice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent her life devoting time to her children and grandchildren. She was a great woman, and will be dearly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maroun Antoon; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Derbonne; and one sister, Betty Poche. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Antoon of Natchitoches, LA; her son, Johnny Antoon and wife Merle of Natchitoches, LA; and two grandchildren, Michael Antoon and Danielle Antoon, both of Natchitoches, LA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St Judes Place, Memphis, TN, 38105; and to St. Mary’s Training School, 6715 Hwy 1, Boyce, LA, 71409.
