William Edward 'Bill' Rutledge

A celebration of life for William Edward 'Bill' Rutledge will be held 3 PM Friday, April 8, 2011 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 1 PM until service time in the funeral home. Bill, 56, of Natchitoches, La., left this earth on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer He was a lifelong resident of Natchitoches, La. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Rutledge and his mother, Louise S. Rutledge. He is survived by three daughters, Blake Crady and husband Craig of Canton, Mi., Brandi Keel and husband Chip of Shepherd, Tx., and Bonnie Rutledge of Henderson, Tx.; one son, B. T. Rutledge and fiancé Karley Ferguson of Natchitoches, La.; He was the loving grandfather to his six grandchildren, Hayden, Trey, Makenzie, Abby, Avery, and Kenley. He is also survived by his loving soul mate, Christy Harville; two sisters, Shirley Baker and husband Jim and Wilma Jones and husband Dub; 'cousin' Carl Johnson.
