Rosalie C. Wright

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Rosalie C.Wright at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Cloutierville, LA with Rev. Kenneth Obiekwe officiating. Interment will follow at Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be given at 7 p.m. on Monday during the visitation at the funeral home. Mrs. Wright, 98 years of age, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Natchitoches, LA. She was born July 13, 1912 to the late Walter and Mary Byone Coutee in Cloutierville, LA. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Maurice Coutee and Willie B. Wright, Sr. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, L.T. Wright and his wife Julie of Cloutierville, Willie B. Wright, Jr. and his wife Carlene of Chicago, IL, Johnnie E. Wright of Shreveport, and Laney A. Wright and his wife Shannon of Cloutierville; daughters, Adlitha Bonnette of Cloutierville, Madeline Wright of Cloutierville, Allie Wright Metoyer and her husband Donald of Alexandria, Anner Wright Christopher and her husband Charles of Natchez, Gloria W. Coutee of Linden, TX, Diana Wright Gehrke of Cane River; and a sister, Anease Beaudion of Chicago, IL; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: William Wright, Jason Coutee, Shawn Bonnette, Clay Wright, Danny Wright, Jonathan Meziere, Tom Wright II, and Donald Dupree, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Cynthia Larson.
