Funeral service for Gary Travis Gamble will be held at 10 AM Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Beulah United Methodist Cemetery at Marthaville, La. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 5 PM; until 9 PM in the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home and on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 9 AM until service time in the church Mr. Gamble, 44, of Haughton, La., died Monday, April 25, 2011, in his residence at Haughton, La. He was a native of Shreveport, La. He was a carpenter/landscaper. He was an avid fisherman, and gardener. He loved listening to Christian contemporary music and spending time with his family. He is survived by three daughters, Heather Gamble, Jessica Gamble, Brianna Gamble all of Shreveport, La.; parents, Circe Gamble and Wanda Gamble of Natchitoches, La.; four sisters, Melanie Gleason and husband Glen of Ruston, La., Linda Thompson and husband Arthur of Huntsville, Al., Kayla Damron of Clovis, NM, and Mary Koob of Natchitoches, La.; life partner, Cindy Harris of Haughton, La.; eleven nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be John Gleason, Glen Gleason, Arthur Thompson, Clint Lonadier, Roger Ferrier, and Irby Gamble.
