Felix Rachal, Sr.

Funeral service for Felix Rachal, Sr. will be held 10 AM Thursday, May 5, 2011 in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Kenneth Obeikwe officiating. Burial will be in the Cloutierville Catholic Cemetery at Cloutierville, La. under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 9 AM until 10 AM in the church. Mr. Rachal, 102, of Derry, La., died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. He was a native of Henryville, La. He was a retired farmer and a maintenance director at Louisiana College in Pineville, La. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix James Rachal and Marie Alexandre LaCour Rachal; three sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Irene Rachal of Derry, La.; one daughter, Margaret Cloutier and husband Charles of Chicago, Il.; three sons, James Rachal, Sr. of Natchitoches, La., Alencon Rachal and wife Mary of Kilgore, Tx., and Felix Rachal, Jr. and wife Julie of Chicago, Il.; seven grandchildren, Alex Rachal and wife Shannon, Amy Rachal, James Rachal, Jr. and wife Delia, Michael Rachal, Denise Rachal, Donna Cloutier, and Tammy Cloutier; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Memorial may be made to the Mass Service at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 231 Hwy 495 Cloutierville, La. 71416
