Funeral service for Reed Hamous will be held 10 Am Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Glenn Flenniken and Rev. David Elkins officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Hamous, 76, of Robeline, La., died Monday, May 2, 2011, at Courtyard Of Natchitoches in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Robeline, La. He was a retired quality control inspector for Sherwood Homes for 20 years. He was a member of Holly Grove Nazarene Church. He loved God, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and spreading the word of God. He was known by all of his family as "Paps". He was preceded in death by his loving wife Elaine Hamous; parents, Alton Hamous and Allie Mae Johnson Hamous; sister, Mollie Howell; brothers, Billy Troy Hamous and Raymond Hamous. He is survived by his one daughter, Linda Fatheree and husband Tommy of Robeline, La.; two sons, Juddy Hamous and wife Star of Robeline, La. and David Hamous of Natchitoches, La.; three grandsons, Cain Hamous, Cody Hamous, and Bo Fatheree and wife Maggie, one granddaughter, Amber Hamous; three great grandchildren, Morgan Faith Fatheree, Ava Jayne Fatheree, and Vivian Kate Fatheree. Pallbearers will be Tommy Fatheree, Wallace LaCaze, Aaron Ingram, Rusty Guilliams, Ambrose Airhart, and Kenneth James. The family would like to extend a special thanks to: The Courtyard of Natchitoches, Hospice of Natchitoches, family and friends.
