Garnet Haney

A service to remember the life of Mrs. Garnet Haney will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Daniels. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Haney passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 in Alexandria, LA. She was born January 13, 1928 to the late William Boylston and late Eala (Prothro) Boylston in Marthaville, LA. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Willie Mae Chaplin and Marie Bynog; brothers, Otis Boylston, George Boylston, Charles Boylston and Jimmy Ray Boylston. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Haney and his wife Barbara of Alexandria, LA.; she was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Jason Martin, Jared Martin, Alton Lucas, Tim Daniels, Vinny Catapano and Victor Miley. Honorary pallberarer will be Brett Haney.
