C.J. Procell

A visitation for C J Procell will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Blanchard St Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches Louisiana on Sunday, May 15th, 2011. A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm during the visitation. C J, born December 03, 1946, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his home in Allen LA. He was 64 years of age. Arrangements are being held by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home, Natchitoches, LA. CJ loved to hunt, fish, drive 18 wheelers, and watch wrestling. He spent the majority of his time outdoors, whether it was working in the yard, hunting and fishing, or taking care of his hunting dogs. He also loved his Swisher Sweet Cigars. He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Procell, Sr; and one daughter, Krystal De Lacruz. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Procell of Robeline, LA; one son, Jeremy Procell of Robeline, LA; six grandchildren, Brandy Elliot of Provencal, LA, Stephanie Brigmon of Natchitoches, LA, Megan Freeman of Robeline, LA, Tony Procell of Natchitoches, LA, and Audie and Roger DeLacruz; six great Grandchildren, Stevan and Kameryn Brigman, Jessie Freeman, David and Wade Elliot, and Bayla Gryner; three sisters, Julie Houston of Shreveport, LA Bonnie Byrd of Shreveport, LA, and Rose Faye of Coushatta, LA; one daughter-in-law, Lisa Laurent of Natchitoches, LA; and one son-in-law, Rogelio DeLacruz of Bossier City, LA. The family would like offer a special Thanks to Byron, Glenda and Kim from Hospice of Natchitoches and the Doctors and Staff at Feist Weiller Cancer Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Also, a special Thanks to Mrs. Lori Panu at the Feist Weiller Cancer Center. CJ had a special place in his heart for Lori and he always believed that she could “perform miracles.” A special Thank you to Mr. Russell Rachal for the words he spoke at the funeral. It really meant a lot to the family.
