Clarence Moorman

Clarence Mitchell Moorman, age 82, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Friday, May 25, 2007, at the hospital in Natchitoches, LA. He was born on May 8th, 1925 in Naborton, LA. He lived in Welch, LA for the majority of his life and moved to Natchitoches about thirty years ago. He was a member of Fountain of Life United Pentecostal Church in Natchitoches. He served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Moorman held a Masters Degree and was a school teacher for approximately 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty plus years, Rose Moorman; his parents; and one twin sister. He is also survived by his son, Bill Moorman of Natchitoches, LA; one grandchild, Kelly Parks and husband Jason of Pineville, LA; and two great-grandchildren, Kelsi and Blake Parks of Pineville, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2007. The funeral service will be held at the Fountain of Life Church at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 26, 2007, with Rev. James Whitehead officiating. Interment will be at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.
