William E. Marshall, Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. William E. Marshall, Sr. will be 2 pm Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Natchitoches, LA. Interment will follow at Marshall Family Cemetery in Provencal, LA. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7 pm during the visitation on Monday. Mr. Marshall passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011 in Natchitoches, LA. He was born June 8, 1924 to the late Antone and Anastasia Marshall in Houston, Texas. He proudly served his country as a Marine during World War II. He retired as a freight engineer from Southern Pacific Railway Company. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Blanche Solomon Marshall; sons, William Marshall, Jr. and his wife Donna and Russell Marshall and his wife Teri; daughters, Sylvia Latiolais and her husband Terry, Becky Johnson, Susan Smith and her husband Edward, Jr., Jo Ann Francis and her husband Jimmie and Terrie Lea McMullen. He was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
