Funeral service for Doris Leo Cadwallader will be held 2 PM Sunday, June 3, 2007 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Pastor Steve Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Fern Park Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Cadwallader, 67, of Stonewall, La., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, May 31, 2007, in her residence. She was so strong and fought until her last breath before losing her battle. Doris was born November 5, 1939 in Natchitoches, La. to David and Corine Leo. She was a member of First Nazarene Church in Natchitoches. . She was preceded in death by her parents, David Leo; sister, Gertrude Martin. She is survived by her husband Alvin Cadwallader, Sr. of Stonewall, La.; two daughters, Debbie Cadwallader of Bossier City, La. and Syndie Luther and husband Larry of Stonewall, La.; two sons, Alvin Cadwallader, Jr. and wife Sherry of Natchitoches, La.David Cadwallader and wife Mary of Natchitoches, La.; mother, Corine Garza Leo of Natchitoches, La. five sisters, Bonnie Lofton of West Monroe, La., Bessie Martin of Natchitoches, La., Lawsey Marie Hathaway of West Lafayette, Ind., Mary Ann Senn of Natchitoches, La. and Betty Summerset of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Ray Allen Leo of Mountain Home, Ark. and Joe Leo of Florien, La.; twelve grandchildren, Wayne and Amanda Watley, Amiee' and Ashley Barbo, Megan, Alison, David and Denise Cadwallader, Adam and Kimber Luther, and Elizabeth and Joshua Deloach whom she loved more than anything in the world. one great grandson, Preston due to arrive in July. Special thanks goes to Community Hospice of America, especially Sonya, Yoshua, and Dr. Randy DelMundo, for all the love and caring they gave her.
