Ella Joyce Rachal

Ella Joyce Rachal, age 92, of Flora, LA., died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Courtyard of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends starting at 5:00 PM Monday, June 20, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Provencal and continuing until service time the following day. The funeral service will be at First Baptist Church in Provencal, LA. at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 21 2011, with Rev. Bruce Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Weaver Cemetery in Flora, LA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. All of her grandchildren were her life and she would do anything for them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Rachal; parents, Seab Walley Russell and Mattie Huffman Russell; one brother, Wiley Russell; two sisters, Dorothy Waylon and Mabel Grimsley. She is survived by her two sons, Clifton Rachal and Don Rachal both of Flora, LA.; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian Ingram of Mineola, Texas. Pallbearers will be Stephen Lester Rachal, Sr., Russell Leo Rachal, William Craig Rachal, Sr., Patrick John Rachal, William Craig Rachal, Jr., and Stephen Lester Rachal, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Vercher, Mike McLaren, Gerald LaCaze, Robbie Dupree, Winston Bridges, and Roger Prewitt. The family would like to thank Dr. Fair, Hospice of Natchitoches, and all the staff at the Courtyard of Natchitoches.
