Audrey Troquille Grant

Funeral service for Audrey Troquille Grant will be held 10 AM Monday, June 4, 2007 in Church of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, La. with Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery at Chopin, La. under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary service at 6:30 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel and visitation on Monday, June 4, 2007 from 8 AM until 9:30 AM in the funeral home. Mrs. Grant, 25, of Shreveport, La. died Friday, June 1, 2007. She was a native of Natchitoches, La.. She was a graduate Magna Cum Laude of Northwestern State University with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, Catholic Student Organization, Pi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society, and The United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was the recipient of the Belle Williams Scholarship, Major Madison Belle Scholarship and Allen and Shirley Smith Scholarship. She is survived by her husband, Zackery Grant of Shreveport, La.; daughter, Vivien Leigh Grant of Shreveport, La.; her parents, Ray and Rosemary Chenault Troquille of Natchitoches, La.; brother, Andrew Troquille of Natchitoches, La.; maternal grandparents, A.B. and Ruth Chenault of Plaquemine, La.; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Troquille of Gorum, La.; her name sake, Audrey Doughty of Plaquemine, La.; aunts, Diane Chenault of Plaquemine, La., Dolores Troquille of Lena, La., and Scarlett Pomeretz of Monette Ferry, La. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, T.C. Troquille; aunt ,Dorothy Clement; uncles, Carl Troquille and Harvery Troquille. Pallbearers will be Tristan Troquille, Jace Troquille, Eric Basco, Tim Basco, David Riojas, and Joseph Riojas. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Minyard, Caleb Minyard, Levi Minyard, Jude Doughty, Channing Troquille, and Skylar Troquille.
