A memorial service for John Lowell Tatum will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at
Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA, with Reverend Milton Guittierrez officiating.
John Lowell Tatum, 51, died Thursday June 30, 2011 at his home in Houston, TX. John
graduated from Canyon High School in New Braunfels, TX; South Plains College in
Levelland; Texas Tech in Lubbock; Texas State University, San Marcos; and The Center
for Advanced Legal Studies in Houston. John taught at The Center for Advanced Legal
Services for five years. He later began working as a Paralegal and Notary for the City of
Houston-Legal Services and in the Labor and Employment Division for 5 years.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl Tolar; and paternal
grandparents, Putt and Nan Tatum.
Those left to cherish his memory include his grandmother, Marie Tolar, his parents, Bob
and Carla Tatum, sister Jo Ellen Di Donato, brother-in-law Michael Di Donato, niece
Jenni Di Donato, and nephew Robert Di Donato, all of Prosper Tx; aunts and uncles
Helen Eves, Jimmie Tolar, Roberta & Ralph Cooper, and friend Virginia Smith.
