Funeral Services for Lynda Winn Vercher will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Westside Baptist Church in Natchitoches, LA. with Dr. Bill Hudson officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, July 18, 2011 from 5 P.M. unitl 8 P.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Burial will be in the Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. Lynda, age 72, a native Natchitoches passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Christus Dubuis Health System in Shreveport, LA. She was born on March 8, 1939 to Stanley and Mary Gertrude Thibodeaux Winn in Kermit, Texas. She was a sales representative with Bellsouth for 31 years. She was a member of Westside Baptish Church in Natchitoches, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Clayton Winn and Mary Gertrude Thibodeaux Winn ; one daughter, Terri Vercher Bourland ; brother-in-law, Anthony Ruggiero. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Francis A. Vercher of Natchitoches, LA. ; one son, Matt Vercher and wife Lorraine of Natchitoches, LA. ; one daughter, Donna Vercher LaCour and husband Ormond of Shreveport, LA. ; one son-in-law, Tom Bourland of Shreveport, LA. ; her grandchildren, Mary Vercher MIlls and husband Thomas and their children Cade and Matthew, Casey Barberousse, Aimee Barberousse Fagan and husband Matt and their children Kaylee and Emma, Madeline LaCour and Sarah Catherine LaCour ; her brother, Don Winn and wife Fran of Natchitoches, LA. ; her sister, Barbara Jo Ruggiero of Marthaville, LA. and numerous nieces and nephews
