Funeral service for Frank J.Gibson will be held 1 PM Friday, June 15, 2007 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Tony Moran officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Robeline, La. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Gibson, 86, of Natchitoches, La., died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Plaquamine, La. He was a retired tug boat captain. He was preceded in death by his wife; Clara Gibson; parents, William Gibson and Theresa Boyce Gibson. He is survived by two step daughters, Judy Tucker of Natchitoches, La. and Vickie Vanlandingham of Hammond, La.; three step sons, Sidney W. Withers of Natchitoches, La., Charles D. Withers of Harvey, La., and Robert J. Withers of Bay Saint Louis, Ms.; nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
