Ronald Wayne Fletcher

Ronald Wayne Fletcher, age 60, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Christus Schumpert Health System in Shreveport, LA. He was born on November the 7th, 1946 in Shreveport, LA. He moved to Natchitoches in 1965. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Fletcher was an accountant and owned his own accounting firm in Natchitoches. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family. He died liked he lived, his own way. He was preceded in death by his father, James Fletcher. He is survived by his wife Linda Fletcher; four daughters, Sally Hudson and husband Paige of Shreveport, LA, Susan Bilnoski and husband Kent of Santa Fe, NM, Jamie Shirley and husband Ryan of Natchitoches, LA, and Kayla Fletcher of Natchitoches, LA; six grandchildren; Taylor Buffington, Mitchell Buffington, Shelbey Bilnoski, Sadie Bilnoski, Seth Bilnoski, and Paige Shirley; his mother, Juanita Fletcher; one sister, Betty Lou Bennett of Germantown, TN; and two brothers, Jim Fletcher, Jr. of Mansfield, LA and Marvin Fletcher of Mansfield, LA Pallbearers will be Joey Eiland, Dr. Larry Burke, Roger Prewitt, Clark Averett, Ronald Shirley, and Ronnie Smith. Jim Adkins will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home, Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday, June 21, 2007. The funeral service will be held at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, June 22, 2007, with Rev. Durhl Davis officiating. Interment will be at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA.
