Funeral services for Daphne LaCaze will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Blachard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel in Natchitoches, Louisiana with the Reverend Michael Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends for vistation from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. Daphne LaCaze, age 87, a native of Sydney, Australia, died Sunday, August 7, 2011, at the Courtyard of Natchitoches. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Jack Lester LaCaze ; her parents, Robert and Sylvia Slough; and her sister Joyce Davy. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Marie Callia and husband Bryan of Natchitoches; her son, Lester Lynwood LaCaze of Natchitoches ; two grandchildren, Hunter Callia and wife Terri Ann of Natchitoches and Melissa Callia of New Brunsfield, Texas; two great granchildren, Trinton Mitchell Callia and Hayden Michael Callia ; one sister, Sylvia Rogers and husband Roy of Sydney, Australia; and one brother, Robert Slough and wife Trish of Hobart, Tasmania. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Bryan Callia, Hunter Callia, Lester LaCaze, Roy Rogers, Michael LaCaze and Mathew LaCaze.
