John E. Ward

Graveside service for Mr. John E. Ward will be Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Bellwood Cemetery, Bellwood, LA under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Ward, 60 years of age, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in Shreveport, LA. He was born December 11, 1950 to the late Carlis Ward and the late Eula Belle (Booty) Ward in Bellwood, LA. He proudly served in the Louisiana National Guard and was a long time employee of U.S. Forestry Service Office in Bellwood. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory include: his son, Joshua L. Ward; sisters, Mandy Harwell, Joy Wester, Shirley Ward, Rosa DeMille and Peggy Lindsey; brothers, James Ward, Lee Ward, Robert Ward and Michael Ward. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Marcus Ward, Jim Ward, Adam Varnell, Pat Dowden and Elton Allen. Mack White will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
