Funeral service for Rosa Jabbia Leone will be held 10 AM Saturday, June 23, 2007 in St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church in Powhatan, La. with Rev. Antony Aelaevanthara officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM. with a rosary at 7 PM in the funeral home chapel and also on Saturday, June 23, 2007 from 8 AM until 9 AM in the funeral home. Mrs. Leone, 94, of Powhatan, La., died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. She was a native and lifelong resident of Powhatan, La. She was a retired clerk in grocery stores in Allen and Powhatan, La. She was a member of St. Frances Catholic Church. . She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Leone, Sr.; son, John J. Leone; brothers, Frank Jabbia, John Jabbia, and Anthony Jabbia; Parents, Peter Jabbia and Josephine Mondello Jabbia. She is survived by two sons, Pete Leone and wife Melba of Powhatan, La. and Joe Leone and wife Jane of Mansfield, La.; daughter-in-law, Linda Leone of Athens, Al.; Kirk Leone, Sr. and wife Sharon, Kiristine Clary, Christopher Leone, Sr. and wife Donna, Craig Leone and wife Michelle, David Leone and wife Janice, and Cindy Carter; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Corine Digilorma of Powhatan, La.; two brothers, Joe Jabbia of Abbeville, La. and Tony Jabbia of Monroe, La. Pallbearers will be Kirk Leone, Craig Leone, Christopher Leone, David Leone, Sammy Leone, and Peter Jabbia.
