Florence Mary Zulick

Florence Mary Phillips Zulick, age 87, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Garden Park Nursing And Rehabilitation in Shreveport, LA. She was born on November 29, 1919 in Pottsville, PA. Her husband was transferred to Natchitoches in the early 1960's for his work with the International Paper Company. She made a home in Natchitoches with her family every since. She was a faithful member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mrs. Florence loved crossword puzzles, playing golf, playing bridge, and shopping. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lin Benton Zulick, one daughter, Susan Lynne Zulick, and her parents, Leo Phillips and Florence Smith Phillips. She is survived by three daughters, Gretchen Going and husband Bob of Bossier City, LA, Cindy Zulick of Natchitoches, LA, and Margaret Wisner and husband Terry of Baton Rouge, LA; one son, Richard Zulick of Natchitoches, LA; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the loving care their mother and grandmother received while at Heritage Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and from Dr’s Bryan and Marguerite Picou during her lengthy illness. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2007. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM during the visitation. The funeral service will be held at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2007, with Rev.
