Kaitlyn Ann Rachal

Funeral service for Kaitlyn Ann Rachal will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at A.A. Fredericks Auditorium at NSU in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Mark Willhoit officiating. Interment will follow at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on September 23, 2011 at A.A. Fredericks Auditorium at NSU in Natchitoches, LA. Kaitlyn Rachal, 14 years of age, passed away September 17, 2011. Kaitlyn was born December 10, 1996 to Jason Huey Rachal, Sr. and Nichole Griese Rachal in Houston, TX. Kaitlyn loved God. She attended church in as many places as she could, and enjoyed everyone. She was a very happy, loving, and caring person. She never stopped smiling, and lit up the room wherever she entered. She loved life, making the best of every situation, and bubbled over with joy. She was best friends with everyone! She was a cheerleader at St. Mary's High School, Natchitoches Central High School, and was a member at Fleur De lis Dance Studio in Natchitoches. The story could continue on, but the memory will last forever. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her parents, Jason Huey Rachal, Sr., and Nichole Allison Griese Rachal, of Natchitoches, LA; one brother, Jason "Jay" Huey Rachal II of Natchitoches, LA; maternal grandparents, Lucille Ann Smith Griese and Lyle Eugene Griese, Sr. of Highlands, TX; her paternal grandparents, Francis Jacquelyn Roberts Rachal of Natchitoches, LA and Huey Rachal and wife Lucie of Baton Rouge; her maternal great grandmother, Alice Marion Smith of Seattle, WA; two aunts, Cynthia Rachal Bennett of Natchitoches, LA and Cynthia Landrum Rachal of Shreveport, LA; three uncles, Lyle Eugene Griese, Jr. of Natchitoches, LA, Mike Rachal and wife Christy of Natchitoches, LA, and Brian Rachal and wife Jean of Natchitoches, LA; and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by one uncle, William Dennis Rachal, Sr.; and two aunts, Francis Annette Rachal and Connie Rene Rachal. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Drew Bernard, Rylan Berry, Josh Hickman, Daryl Jordan, Austin Morgan, Damien Post, and Evan Sinclair. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Chronister, Cameron Duke, Dylan Ledoux, Dalton Mc Dermott, Cody Olliff, Colby Sessions, Michael Vallet, Adam Walker, and Matt Walker
