Sophia Grace Smeltzer

Sophia Grace Smeltzer passed peacefully in the arms of her family on September 28, 2011. She was born September 6, 2011 in Natchitoches, LA. Sophia gave a lifetime of love during her short time on earth. Sophia was the daughter of Clifton and Allison (Doggett) Smeltzer. She is survived by her parents; maternal grandmother, Jeanne Doggett; paternal grandparents, Paul and Kayla Smeltzer; maternal great-grandmother, Vera Vige; aunts, Katrina Smeltzer and Nicole Doggett; and an uncle, Monty Doggett, Jr. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 5 pm until 7 pm at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. A service will follow on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 10:00 am at Blanchard St. Denis Chapel. Interment will follow at American Cemetery, Natchitoches, LA.
