Funeral service for Joyce Annette Delacerda Possoit will be held 10 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Harold Imanshah officiating. Burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery at Chopin, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 10, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM with a rosary at 7 PM in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel and on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 8 AM until 9 AM in the funeral home. Mrs. Possoit, 63, of Chopin, La., died Sunday, July 8, 2007, in her residence at Chopin, La. She was a native and lifelong resident of Chopin, La. She was a certified nurses aid for Harmony Home Health of Natchitoches, La. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mona Paulette Glenn; brother, John Wayne Delacerda. She is survived by her husband Paul R. Possoit; of Chopin, La.; one daughter, Sandra Rachal and husband Chris of Marco, La; one son, Brian Glenn of Provencal, La. five grandchildren, Shelley LeBlanc, Brandon Glenn, Christopher Glenn, Erica Glenn, and Belle Glenn; five great grandchildren, Kamryn Glenn, Triston Glenn, Bradon Doughty, Trinity Glenn, and Draven Miller; parents, Arthur Delacerda and Lucille Vallery Delacerda of Chopin, La. Pallbearers will be Bradley LeBlanc, Brandon Glenn, Christopher Glenn, Jonathan Delacerda, Devin Delacerda, and Justin Delacerda. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Rachal, Triston Glenn, Bradon Doughty, Draven Miller, Trinity Glenn, Belle Glenn, and Kamryn Glenn.
