Isaac "Ike" Dupree

Funeral service for Isaac “Ike” Dupree will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Melrose with Father John O'Brien officiating. Interment will follow at St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until service time on October 11, 2011 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church Hall. Isaac “Ike” Dupree, 83 years of age, passed away October 5, 2011. Isaac was born February 15, 1928 to the late Joseph Landry Dupree and Frances Severin Dupree in Isle Brevelle, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia M. Dupree; his parents, Joseph Landry Dupree and Frances Severin Dupree; his son, Isaac Dupree, Jr.; his brothers, Donald Dupree and Joseph Dupree; his sisters, Mary Dupree and Annie Mae Dupree. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Loraine Dupree McGrew, Michael G. Dupree, Ronald Patrick Dupree, Gary Allen Dupree , Donna Faye Dupree and Dowl Bruce Dupree all of Isle Brevelle; his grandchildren, Linda McGrew, Patrick Glenn McGrew, Will McGrew, Michael Dupree, Isaac "Ike" Dupree, Anotonio Dupree, Brandi Celeste Dupree, Justin Dupree, Gary Dupree, Jr., Jacques Dupree, Michelle Dupree, Nicholas Dupree, David Bruce Dupree, Dominique Celeste Davis, Angela Renee Davis, Dowl Bruce Dupree, Jr. and Pamela Trechelle; his sisters, Francis Dupree Martin and Marilyn Dupree; his brothers, Wilfred Dupree and Emmanuel Dupree; numerous great grandchildren, great great children, neices, nephews and friends.
