Mother was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edmon Ray Youngblood, Sr.; her son, Edmon Ray Youngblood, Jr.; her parents; and 6 siblings. She and daddy lived in Louisiana all their lives having resided in Lafayette, Coushatta, Natchitoches, Monroe, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. She was an excellent cook, seamstress and gardener. We loved her Banana Pudding, Mississippi Mud Pie, Guacamole dip, Shrimp Po-Boys and we loved her. The last several years mother resided at Parthenon Healthcare of Fort Walton with Alzheimer's.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lt. Col. OJ and Sandy Davis of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and daughter and son-in-law, George and Debbie Cox of Lilburn, Georgia. She is also survived by her grandsons, Cory Davis and his wife Courtney of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Brad Davis and his wife Victoria of Flower Mound, Texas; who gave her a namesake great-granddaughter, Francis Evelyn "Frankie" Davis; and her granddaughters, Brittany and Allison Cox of Lilburn, Georgia.
Many thanks to the Benton House, Westwood and especially Parthenon Healthcare in Fort Walton Beach for the excellent care mother received.
