Martha "Mickey" L. Elliott

Services for Martha Lovenia (Mickey) Elliott, 92, will be held on Friday, October 14th, at 2 pm in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Reverend Wayne Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13th from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Miss Elliott died on Wednesday, October 11 at the Courtyard of Natchitoches. A native of DeQueen, AR, and a childhood resident of Converse, she was the daughter of Grover and Althea Cheaves Elliott. She was a bookkeeper for Kaffie-Frederick Department Store for most of her life, and she was an active member of Grand Ecore Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Mary Elliott Mills, Grace Elliott Johnson, Birdie Ruth Elliott Swearingen; and her brother, William Earl Elliott. She is survived by her sister, Myrtle Ann Elliott Dethloff and her husband Henry; a nephew, C.C. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Janet; and several other extended family members. Pallbearers will be Thomas Johnson, Sr., Steve Horton, Clay Dethloff, Jerry Gill, Jared Wilson, and Stephen Dethloff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Grand Ecore Road Baptist Church.
