Margaret Sue Mitchell Lambert, age 75, of Robeline, LA, died Friday, July 20, 2007, at her home in Robeline, LA. She was born on November the 17th, 1931 in Allen, LA. She moved to Robeline in the mid 30's with her family and lived there for the rest of her life. She met her husband, Arthur, in Robeline and also started a beauty shop there. She was an assistant mail carrier, a member of the eastern star, she loved to fish, and liked to hunt. She was a Robeline correspondent for the Natchitoches Times for many years. She was a member of Hickory Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Robeline. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Mitchell, Sr. and Vera McCrory Mitchell, and one daughter, Pami Sue Lofton.. She is also survived by her husband Arthur Lambert; one daughter, Patti Salley and husband Richard of Stonewall, LA; one son, Rickie Lambert and wife Holly of Natchitoches, LA; seven grandchildren, Monica Hubert and husband Michael of Spangdelin, Germany, Dr.’s Jed Lambert and wife Elizabeth of Waynesville, NC, Bubba Salley and wife Katie of Stonewall, LA, Bill Parker and wife Maranda of De Berry, TX, Kelly Rae Lambert of Natchitoches, LA, Margaret Lofton and Adam Lofton of Natchitoches, LA; one great-grandchild, Myka Hubert of Spangdelin, Germany; and one brother, Henry Mitchell, Jr. of Bossier City, LA. Pallbearers will be, Bubba Salley, Bill Parker, Kelly Rae Lambert, Gary Mitchell, Matt Railey, and John Bynog. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Jed Lambert, Margaret Lofton, and Adam Lofton. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2007. The funeral service will be at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Monday, July 23, 2007, with Rev. Mike Marbut officiating. Interment will be at Lambertown Cemetery in Robeline, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lambertown Cemetery Fund, 1244 Freeman Loop, Robeline, LA 71469.Online condolences may be given at www.blanchardstdenisfuneralhome.com.
