Funeral service for Steve Martin will be held 10 AM Wednesday, July 25, 2007 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Craig Beeman, Rev. Jason Gootee, and Pastor Doris Bonier officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Martin, 49, of Natchitoches, La., died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. He was a native of Natchitoches, La. He was employed by Wal-Mart of Natchitoches, La. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Leroy Martin, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Murray Martin of Natchitoches, La. three sisters, Jeanie Cotton and husband Bart of Natchez, La., Susan Martin of Bossier City, La., and Lisa Garcia and husband Willie of Natchitoches, La.; one brother, Benjamin Martin, Jr. and wife Belinda of Panama City, Fl.; two nieces, seven nephews, and two great-nieces. Pallbearers will be nephews, Eric Williams, Will Garcia, Ben Garcia, Benjamin Martin III, Jackson Martin, J.P. Cotton, and Wade Goings.
