Hazel Fair

Funeral Services for Hazel Fair will be Friday, November 25, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel in Natchitoches with Dr. Carroll Marr. Interment will follow in Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday, November 24, 2011 from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Mrs. Fair, age 96, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Courtyard of Natchitoches. She was born on October 17, 1915 to Francis and Ollie Pullig in Ashland. She was a native of Natchitoches and was a housewife raising her 5 children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Orie C. Fair; her parents, Francis and Ollie Pullig; her daughter, Barbara Lacaze; and three grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Bobby, Rex, Roy and Billy Fair all of Natchitoches; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Shane Fair, Clay Fair, Shannon Fair, Bill Fair, Chuck LaCaze, Kip Fair. Dr. Jack Fair will serve as honorary pallbearer. In lieu of floral contributions, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
