Allen 'Pete' Beaudoin

Funeral service for Allen 'Pete'  Beaudoin will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, August 1, 2007, in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. James Foster officiating.  Burial will be in Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitohces, La.  Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2007 from 5 PM until 9 PM and on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Beaudoin, 85, of Natchitoches, La., died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at Green Meadow Haven in Coushatta, La.  He was a native of Natchitoches, La.  He was a retired auto mechanic for Natchitoches Ford Lincoln Mercury Dealership in Natchitoches, La.  He  was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Veteran Of Foreign Wars, American Legion.  He was a veteran of World War II serving in U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Wiggins Beaudoin; son, Milton Attaway; daughters, Iona Miller, Cathy Dickerson; son-in-law, Mike Dickerson; brother, Phillip Beaudoin;  parents, Joseph Beaudoin and Alice LaCaze Beaudoin.He is survived by grandchildren, Cindy Weaver and husband Barry of Campti, La., Gwen Scott and husband Tony of Martin, La., Allen Miller of Florida, Patti Miller of Tennessee , and Deborah Miller of Keatchie, La.; nine great-grandchildren; five sisters, Maize Williams of Rosepine, La., Dee Livingston of El Dorado, Ar., Gladys McFerrin, Bernice Beaudoin, and Anice Sorgee all of Natchitoches, La.; one brother, Raymond Beaudoin of Natchitoches, La.; special friends, Dorothy Martin and Jonnettye Robinette both of Natchitoches, La.       Pallbearers will be members of the local American Legion and VFW.
