Rosie McCoy

A service to celebrate the life of Rosie McCoy will be 10 am Friday, December 9, 2011 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Sklar officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. McCoy passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 in Shreveport, LA. She was born in Mount Hermon, LA to the late Donough Alford and the late Latane (Breland) Alford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. McCoy, Jr. and an infant son, Kenneth David McCoy, III. Those left to cherish her memory include: her daughter, Michelle McCoy Monger and her husband Meade of Dallas, TX; sister, Janet Wooley of Gautier, MS; brother, Col. Paul Alford and his wife Brenda of Mount Hermon, LA. She was blessed with three grandchildren; Natalie Rose Monger, Katherine Elizabeth Monger and Rachel Caroline Monger; as well as two nieces, Paula Alford Estrade and Brigit Sevin.
