Funeral service for Georgia Yeary Wolff will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Alexandria, La. with Rev. Bob Martinek officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 3, 2007 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Devotion Service at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La. with Rev. John Karle officiating.
A funeral service preceding the burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Old Dime Box, Tex. with Rev. Walter Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the Old Dime Box Cemetery in Old Dime Box, Tex. under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, La. with support from Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, Tex.
Mrs. Wolff, 82, of Natchitoches, La., died Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Marvin Yeary and Edna Frances Arnold Yeary; sister, Dorothy Frances Yeary; brothers, Emmett Marvin Yeary, Jr., Robert Edward Yeary, James Ralph Yeary, and Oscar Lee Yeary.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harold E. Wolff of Natchitoches, La., one daughter, Joan Wolff Terrell and husband, Drake, of Houston, Tex.; two sons, John Wolff of Old Dime Box, Tex. and Mike Wolff and wife, Becky of Natchitoches, La..; six grandchildren, John Wolff, Jake Terrell, Dylan Terrell, David Wolff, Anne Marie Wolff and James Wolff; and sisters, Mildred Yeary Bell of Houston, Tex., Ima Yeary Kankel of Brenham, Tex., and Mary Jane Yeary Bauer of Navasota, Tex.; brother, Lonnie Odell Yeary of El Paso, Tex.
Mrs. Wolff was a native of Angleton, Tex. She attended Texas Women's University in Denton, Tex. She was a retired legal secretary and worked for numerous attorneys and a district judge in Houston, Texas and Alexandria, La. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and member of Twin City Twirlers Square Dance Club.
Memorials may be made to outreach support ministries for either Christ the King Lutheran Church in Natchitoches, La., Redeemer Lutheran Church in Alexandria, La. or Trinity Lutheran Church in Old Dime Box, Tex.
Pallbearers in Alexandria, La. will be Francis Artley, Bobby Smith, Glenroy Wieshuhn, Jim Ortiz, Jake Terrell, and David Wolff.
Pallbearers in Old Dime Box, Tex. will be Douglas Spacek, Bobby Smith, Mark Bauer, Mark Finke, Jake Terrell and David Wolff.
