Jane Todtenbier

Jane Todtenbier, age 66, of Natchitoches, LA, went to be with her Lord after a six year battle with Multiple Myeloma and Leukemia on Friday, August 3, 2007, at LSU Health Sciences Center in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in Shreveport, LA. She was born on April the 2nd, 1941 in Anderson, IN. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and was very fond of her step-children and step-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Todtenbier; her parents, Aubrey Hamilton, Sr. and Ruth Feurer Hamilton; and one brother, James Hamilton. She is survived by her two step-daughters, Linda Marlow and husband Jack, and Beth St. Andre and husband Dan of Clarkesville, GA; three step-sons, Ren Todtenbier and wife Michele of Natchitoches, LA, Dan Todtenbier of Anderson, IN, and Jay Todtenbier of Natchitoches, LA; nine step-grandchildren; Heather Robinson and husband Brian, Cassie St. Andre, Jennie Tolbert and husband Michael, Ryan Todtenbier and wife Erika, Daniel Todtenbier, Amanda Todtenbier, Mercedes Marlow, Ashleigh Marlow, and Bailey Todtenbier; two step-great-grandchildren, Emma and Noah Robinson; four brothers, Aubrey Hamilton of Tucson, AZ, Robert Hamilton and wife Betty of Michigan, Keith Hamilton and wife Barbara of Anderson IN, and Dick Hamilton and wife Sue of Selma, IN; and two sisters, Lila Haynes and husband Ralph of Marion, IN and Kay Benefiel of Anderson, IN. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Mary Long, the staff at Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and the Dr.'s and staff in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in Shreveport, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. A memorial service will be held at the Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 7, 2007, with Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating.
