Era Weaver

A memorial service for Mrs. Era Weaver will be held 10 am Saturday, the 4th of February, 2012 at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, the 3rd of February, 2012 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Weaver, age 87, passed away peacefully on the 1st day of February, 2012 at the Natchitoches Regional Medical Center, Natchitoches, Louisiana. She was a homemaker, devoted mother of three children and in her spare time enjoyed her love of gardening. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 62 years, Billy H. Weaver; her parents, Scrivy and Azalie (Robertson) Russell; and her sister, Norma Russell Landrum. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Billy W. Weaver and wife, Claire, Terry Weaver and wife, Brenda; her daughter, Linda Weaver Davis and husband, Ronnie all of Natchitoches; 11 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Gregory Stephen Weaver, Jamison Russell Weaver, David Anthony Weaver, Joshua Charles Davis, Kevin Michael Maturin, Paul Thomas Currie, Alex Joseph Maturin, Collin James Lorenz and Dylan Michael Lorenz. Memorials may be made to the Women’s Resource Center in Natchitoches or the charity of donor’s choice.
