Polly Ann Oldham

A service to celebrate the life of Polly Ann Oldham will be 1 pm Monday, February 13, 2012 at Christian Harmony Baptist Church with Pastor David Matlock officiating. Interment will follow at St. Maurice Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4 pm on Sunday, February 12, 2012 until service time on Monday at Christian Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Oldham, 83 years of age, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 in Ruston, LA. She was born May 26, 1928 to the late Anderson Frost and the late Lois (Grizzard) Frost in Randolph County, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burt Oldham; a sister, Frances Pitts; brothers, Norman Frost, Jack Frost, Bob Frost, Jim Frost and Buddy Frost; step sons, Pat Oldham and Everett Oldham; and a great grand-daughter, Madelyn Grace Morgan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joyce Reese and her husband Leon, Jane Frederick, Jeri Holcombe, Tammie Wall and her husband Theron, Charlene Williams and her husband Danny; a step daughter, Sharon Quarels and her husband Doug; sisters, Jane Powers, Kate Malloy and Patty Robinson; brother, Carl Frost. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Angela Cohane, Kristi Nolen, Shelly Catarina, Clayton Collum, Kimberly Wall, Wesley Wall and Arron Morgan; as well as 9 great grandchildren. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Charlie Denham, J.J. Scadlock, Albert Scott, Roger Collum, Bradley Bates and Jarrett Chandler.
