Ettie Lee Zimmer

Funeral service for Ettie Lee Stacy Zimmer will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Toby Brazzel officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on February 19, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Ettie Lee, 97 years of age, passed away February 16, 2012. She was born February 20, 1914 to the late Hill Stacy and Ettie Hamm Stacy in Natchitoches, LA. She was member of the Cypress Baptist Church since 1955 and was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. Ettie was also a member of the homemakers club since 1941. She was very found of working in a flower garden and thouroughly enjoyed spending her spare time fishing. She was a very loving, compassionate, and giving individual. She was very unselfish and kind, and would help anyone in need. Ettie Lee truly was a great lady, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was survived by her daughters, Judy Zimmer Davis and husband Marvin of Robeline, LA, Sharon Beaudoin and husband Phillip of Natchitoches, LA, Toni Bennet and husband Neil of Natchitoches, LA, Bonnie Rynick and husband Steve of New Orleans, LA, Dianne Blanchard of Tyler, TX, and Jan Hebert and husband James of Dickinson, TX; 25 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hill Stacy and Ettie Lee Hamm Stacy; two husbands, Willie O. Cobb and Joseph Zimmer; and one brother, Will Harris Stacy. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Phillip Beaudoin, Marvin Davis, Steve Rynick, C D Brazil, and Rhett Thompson.
