Joseph A. Salim

Joseph A. Salim, born on March 19, 1921 to the late Catherine Boaz Salim and late Anthony Salim in Natchitoches, LA, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nell Moore Salim; two sons, James Salim and his wife Mary Ann and Robert Salim and his wife Christie; six grandchildren, Kelly Raye Ford and husband Anthony Glen, Bret Taylor Salim and his wife Cate, Bart Joseph Salim and his wife Michelle, Anthony Joseph Salim, Christopher Ryan Salim, and Jennifer Marie Salim; one great grandson, Taylor Salim; and one brother, Sam Salim. Graveside services will be held at the Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Father Craig Scott and Father Irion St. Romaine officiating. A reception will follow at the family home located at 363 Taylor Road, Natchitoches, LA. Family, friends and neighbors are invited to attend.
