Funeral service for Eddie Dewayne Hayes will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Blanchard-St. Denis Chapel in Natchitoches, LA with Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Marthaville Cemetery in Marthaville, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on March 23rd at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Eddie Hayes, 35 years of age, passed away March 18, 2012. Eddie was born October 16, 1976 to the late Michael Cerrell Hayes and Patricia Ann Sharpley in Natchitoches, LA. He is survived by his two children, Gannon Michael Hayes and Kelsey Ann Hayes; his mother, Patricia Ann Sharpley of Robeline, LA; three brothers, Timothy Fuller and wife Tiffany Cheri of Natchitoches, Thomas Lance Weinman of Houston, TX, and Christopher Thomas Weinman of Robeline, LA; and his maternal grandparents, Ruby L. Pingilley of Robeline, LA and Leonard Ray Sharpley of Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Cerrell Hayes; and his paternal grandparents, Cerell and Sylvia Hayes. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Matthew Rawls, T.J. Fuller, Chris Weinman, Steven Perkins, Fred Ray Hayes, Jr., and Lance Weinman. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Boyter and Shane Sharpley. Eddie Hayes was a wonderful man. He had a kind heart and loved his family more than anything in the world. His smile would light up the room, especially when he was with his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, father and friend and will be truly missed by many.
