Weyman "W.J." "Dub" Myers, Jr.

Services for Weyman “W.J.” “Dub” Myers will be held at 11a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Crews New Salem Baptist Church with Brother Yancy Martin officiating and Rev. Dan Chance delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be held Monday, September 10 beginning at 6 p.m. at Crews New Salem. Mr. Myers, 64 died, Saturday, September 8, in his residence at Campti. Mr. Myers was a native of Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents George Weyman and Inez Myers; one daughter, Mary Jane Myers; and one brother, Earnest Fair Myers, each of Montgomery, LA. He is survived by his special someone, Deanna Martinez of Campti; one son, Dwayne Myers and wife Kathy of Montgomery; one daughter, Mona Potts and husband Randy of Montgomery; and their mother, Lucindy Myers of Natchitoches. One step-daughter, Heather Martinez of Campti; one step-son, David Martinez of Houston, TX; four grandsons, Brad and Jonathan Myers, and Dustin and Michael Potts of Montgomery; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson; five brothers and five sisters and their spouses; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be Wendell Carver, Jeremy Cooper, Bubba Myers, Jason Dickson, Dallas Jones, and I.V. Potts, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Michael Carter, Derek Harris, Gene Black, Charlie Cox, Jamie Cox, Travis Curlee, and Jackie Curlee. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Salem Baptist Church building fund.
