Earl Metoyer, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Earl Metoyer, Jr. will be 11 am Monday, April 9, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Isle Brevelle, LA with Father Jacob Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow at the St. Augustine Church Mausoleum. The family will receive friends in the church hall from 8:30 am until Mass time. Mr. Metoyer, 64 years of age, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. He was born June 13, 1947 to Elizabeth (Christophe) Metoyer and the late Earl Metoyer, Sr. in Natchitoches, LA. Earl was a 1966 graduate of St. Matthew High School. He worked as a printer at Northwestern State University for 33 years as well as the owner and operator of C&M Printing Company. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Elizabeth Metoyer of Cane River, sisters, Anita Evans and her husband Ronnie of Bermuda and Debra Metoyer and her husband Glenn of Dallas, TX; brothers, James Metoyer and his wife Mary Ann of Houston, TX, Kenneth Metoyer, Sr. and his wife Eydie of Cane River and Gregory Metoyer and wife Antoinette of Houston, TX.; five nephews, Darius Metoyer and his wife Monica, Duane Metoyer and his wife Valerie, Michael Metoyer and his wife Dominique, Jared Evans and Glenn Metoyer, II; four nieces, Melinda Metoyer Coker and her husband Brian, Kristen Metoyer, Monique Metoyer and Brooke Evans; three great nephews, four great nieces and a host of relatives and friends.
