Margie Louise McLamore

A service to honor the life of Margie McLamore will be 1 pm Monday, April 9, 2012 in the chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with Brother Bill Hudson and Brother Mike Honzell officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery of Natchitoches. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8 pm on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. McLamore passed away Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born April 15, 1925 to Curtis and Pearl Bishop near Calvin, LA. For fifty years she managed Traber Insurance Agency in Natchitoches. She was a long time member of Westside Baptist Church as well as a member of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jacque Crew and her husband Robert of Natchitoches; son, Bob McLamore and his wife Lydia of DeRidder; grandchildren, Shane McLamore and his wife Tara, Gretchen Jane Levine and her husband Lt. Col. Mark S. Levine, Kristin Milligan and her husband Barry and Cory Crew; great grandchildren, Carter McLamore, Cruz McLamore, Cane McLamore, Sarah Jane Levine, Lance Levine, Madison Milligan, Chandler Milligan, Connor Crew and Rocky Crew; granddaughter in law, Ashley Crew; caregivers, Vera Roberson and Veoria Neal as well as numerous family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack McLamore; parents, Curtis and Pearl Bishop; brother, Charles Bishop and a great grand-daughter, Katie Milligan. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Natchitoches Community Care Center, Dr. Archie Breazeale, Dr. John Hogg and Dr. Chris Ingram as well as the staff on the 2nd floor of Natchitoches Regional Medical Center for their special loving care.
