Her mission in life was simple, she wanted to let God’s light shine through her like a beacon, and she did a wonderful job doing so. Although she became sick with cancer, she still had a wonderful outlook on life. She believed that she had cancer but cancer did not have her. She always had a smile, no matter how bad she felt at the time. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend, and will be missed by all. She attended the Robeline First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Jordan and the Mary Jenkins Jordan, and one sister, Dorothy Eloise Jordan Flynt. She is survived by her husband Randall Bockstanz; one daughter, Urshala Bockstanz-Adams and husband John of Natchitoches, LA; one sister, Oleda Montieth and husband Joe of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Velton Jordan and wife Irma of Murfreesboro, TN, and Troy Jordan and wife Gay of Cleveland, TX; four nephews, Douglas Flynt of Robeline, LA, Paul Jordan of Murfreesboro, TN, Troy W. Jordan, II of Cleveland, TX, and Will Jordan of Murfreesboro, TN; and four nieces, Pamala Stier of Pensacola, FL, Kimberly Johns of Fort Lewis, WA, Amy Jordan-Stout of Murfreesboro, TN, and Dr. April Jordan McMahon of Kingwood, TX, and 18 great nieces and nephews. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Willis-Knighton Cancer Center in Shreveport, LA and Hope Hospice in Natchitoches, LA.
