Lawrence McCorkle Gill

Funeral services for Lawrence McCorkle Gill will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Campti, LA with Father Ryan Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Campti Catholic Cemetery in Campti, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a rosary held at 7:00 pm during the visitation, on April 19, 2012 at Blanchard - St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA. Lawrence Gill, 48 years of age, passed away April 18, 2012. Lawrence was born February 15, 1964 to the late Lawrence Max Gill and Eleanor Chamberlin Gill in Natchitoches, LA. He was a generous man, although he was a man of few words. Lawrence worked most of his life in his family's telecommunications business. He enjoyed racing, loved music, and spending time with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Michael Lawrence Gill and wife Allison of Pineville, LA; his mother, Eleanor C. Gill, of Campti, LA; three sisters, Mary Lee of Pleasant Hill, LA, Rita Lemoine and husband Curtis of Decatur, TX, and Therese Fonrouge and husband Richard of Hollywood, FL; two brothers, Richard Gill and wife Lynnel of Natchitoches, LA and Francis Gill and wife Karen of Campti, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Max Gill; two brothers, Philip Gill and Roger Gill.
