Louis J. Lacaze

Louis Lacaze, age 82, of Natchitoches, LA, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007, at Louisiana Extended Health Care in Natchitoches, LA. Arrangements are being handled by Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, LA, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2007. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM during the visitation. The funeral service will be at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2007. Interment will be at Fern Park Cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. Mr. Louis was born on November 09, 1924 in Natchitoches, LA. He was a sheet-metal contractor in Natchitoches for 40 years, where he owned his own business. He was a football fan along with being a talented sheet-metal worker. He was a very out-going individual, who very seldom met a stranger. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Lacaze and Marie Lacaze; one daughter, Monette Lacaze; one son, Kerry Lacaze, and one grandchild, Nicholas. He is survived by his wife Dorothy LaCaze; one son, Louis J. Lacaze, Jr. of Natchitoches, LA; one daughter, Kim Lacaze of Natchitoches, LA; one step-son, Jim Davis of Bossier City, LA; one sister, Lucille Zanetti of Shreveport, LA; two grandchildren, Dawn Lacaze of Shreveport, LA and Jordy Humphreys of Natchitoches, LA; three great grandchildren; one step grandchild, Marja Liner of Baton Rouge, LA; and two step great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Christopher Dortlon, Kelly Dortlon, Johnathan Dortlon, Layton Long, Joe Casida, Winston Cedars, and Charles Vienne.
